Telstra Data Exchange Penrith Reclad – National Rollout

The Telstra Data Exchange building in Penrith received an upgrade to its facade to remove the dated pebblecrete and increase its aesthetic appeal. 1,400m² of Mitsubishi ALPOLIC™ NC/A1 DtS compliant non-combustible cladding in Light Bronze Metallic, Pale Copper Metallic, and Dark Grey Metallic finish were used to reclad and modernise the facade.

ALPOLIC™ NC/A1 was chosen due its wide range of standard and custom colour options as well as its superior flatness and exceptional durability. Another benefit is its unmatched 20-year full cover manufacturer’s warranty, which includes materials, labour and rectification costs. It requires no cleaning to maintain the warranty which is a huge cost saving to the building owners. 

This project was one of several Telstra Data Exchange reclads. Other sites have included Blacktown and Redfern in NSW, Exhibition St in VIC, and Launceston in TAS. Still to be completed are Chatswood and Parramatta in NSW, and Waymouth and Flinders St in SA.
